Cutter Oil Company is an independent, family-owned oil and gas development company
that has been producing oil and gas in Ohio since 1982. We are experienced
in rural and urban drilling, and above all we pride ourselves on our environmental
responsibility and safety practices that exceed minimum State standards. We

The passage of House Bill 278 opened up new revenue opportunities for landowners
in urban areas as allows oil and gas development where it had been previously banned.
This bill placed all regulatory control for the Ohio oil and gas industry on the
State of Ohio Department of Natural Resources, rather than the individual municipalities.
