House Bill 278

Landowners can now take advantage of new income opportunities that were previously unavailable to them due to local restrictions.

When the House Bill 278 was passed, it granted exclusive authority to regulate the drilling of oil and gas wells in the state to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. This effectively lifted previous local commissioned or zoned bans on oil and gas exploration within urban areas.

What does this mean for landowners? It means that they can now take advantage on new income opportunities that they were previously unavailable to them due to local restrictions. Cutter Oil has the experience required to operate wells within tight conditions where the environment and safety are always the primary concern.

The details of the bill can be found here.

Cutter Oil has a proven ability to get the most out of our wells. Our wells produce more in the beginning and have a much longer life than any competitor, ultimately translating into more money for our landowners.
