Founded in 1982 by Charles and Elizabeth Cutter, Cutter Oil began as a family operation rooted in West Salem, Ohio. What started with hard work, landowner relationships, and a commitment to doing things the right way has grown into a second-generation Ohio energy company with a long record of service across Northeast Ohio.

Over more than four decades, Cutter Oil has drilled 150+ wells across Wayne, Cuyahoga, Summit, and Lake counties. But our history is not measured only in wells. It is measured in the relationships we have built with landowners and the reputation our family has worked to protect.
